Pretty Little Things

I love making cards! They are like mini scrapbook pages..........here are a few that I made today. I made them up for the December Cards Call.......wish me luck!

Disneyland was fun, exausing and hot. I didn't really take enough pictures......I'll share my faves in upcoming layouts soon. Thanks for all the well wishes on a fun mini vacay!

Happy Thursday!!

Met up with a friend from Two Peas yesterday at my local scrapbook Store..........Lisa Garay aka Arsyfartsychick! She brought along her cutie pie little girl, Frankie, who got to play in the little toy area at the store. :)

Lisa's parents live in town and she e-mailed me that she was coming ................so as we scrapbookers love to meet up IRL, we decided to hook up while she was in town! and at what better place than my lss?

We shopped a bit, talked alot and laughed even more! It had been about 6 months seen we had seen eachother last at CHA Vegas..........so we had some catching up to do!

Very cool people.
We must do that again!

Later today we are leaving for Disneyland!!!!!!!!!!! My sister and her family are already there so we will meet up with them at the hotel at about 10 pm. Get up bright and early the next day and tackle both Disneyland and California Adventure and all it has to offer.................in one day! That's going to be alot to do in a limited time and so much walking. Oh lord, my feet hurt already!!! I'm so excited to expose Jaden to the Magical Kingdom!!!!!!!!! Jaden is going to love it! His first time!!! I can't wait to see and hear his reactions when he sees all the characters! He doesn't quite get where we are going, but boy will he when we get there!

(Scrapjazzers: we are going without the harness/wrist thingie..............we'll see how that goes)

Saturday morning we are driving to Vegas Baby!!!!!! David has never been there so he's really excited to go. We are only staying until Sunday afternoon then back on the road to central coast.

Lot's of driving, short trip.............but it will be packed full of fun!

Boy does it feel like a MONDAY!

Whooooooooooot! WhoooooooooT! It's Wednesday! Feels good to know there is only 2 more days of work to go! Love when Holidays fall on a weekday.......messes up my days but it's all good.

Spent some time at Lake San Antonio.........very friggen hot. 100.1 degrees. Dudes, I was seriously melting. I put tons of sunscreen on Jaden and he did fine. We took Jaden on a boat ride, he like it. I did forget my camera, so no fun pics to share. :(

We had our 1st annual Lopez/Cibrian Family Reunion on Monday! Lots of fam came up from LA, San Diego area and we had a western themed bash! My cute filmstudent cousin, who goes to school in LA, made a cool documentary style film about our family and where it all started. Very cool. The kid is going places i tell ya. Wish i could post a link of some kind.

My sisters and female cousins wore cowboy getups, but blingified. Cowboy hats and rhinestone studded jeans, boots.........totally Rhinestone Cowgirls. I did not. Oooooooh heck, no. But it was in all fun, so I guess i should have. I looked cute though, sported my new bronze colored awesome wedges......love those babies.......and cute brown skirt.

Watched Superman with my honey on the 4th. Superman is superlicious!! Love the guy they chose to play him. Spot on perfect. Especially when he played Clark Kent. He looked so much like Christopher Reeve it was trippy. I really didn't care for Kate Bosworth as Lois. Wasn't a good casting choice for me...........I think Rachel McAddams would have been a better fit. Maybe not, the girl should have been atleast 28 years old. Overall, it was good movie. I dug it!
