It's almost Halloween!

I'll be carving pumpkins tonight, baking spooktackular treats and getting ready to take my little Power Ranger out trick or treating.

Heroes

I'm so hooked on this.
I missed out on the whole Lost craze.
Missed out on the Greys craze.

But Heroes.
I'm in on this shiz.

If you don't watch it, you'll have no idea what I'm talking about.

OK.

The cheerleader is evidently the key to this whole Heroes thing. Good thing for Hayden Panieterrie, she's got job security. "Save the Cheerleader, save the world." Her evil father knows that she has special powers. I wonder how that all will tie in together with the rest of this story. Is the evil dad (I can't place the actor, i think he was like in Dynasty or something..anywhoo) was trying to have the mind stealer guy get Flying Polititian (aka the main Dixie Chick's husband) but he flew off like superman. Thing is, that it was in Las Vegas Right?????? So how the heck did the evil dad and mind stealer guy end up in a hospital somewhere in Texas later that same day. Me thinks Evil Dad can like teleport or Mind Stealer dude does. hmmmmmmmmm?

Can someone cut the cute flying nurse guys hair already? It annoys me how he is constantly pulling that long bang back..........he also has a crooked mouth or something.....but he's still cute. And what was with his ability to get all crazy eyed and finish the druggie painters painting???????? Trippy dude.

So now we know that mind stealer guy is the father of the cute genious kid and the husband of Ali Larter. I still don't quite get her in the mirror dual self, but I did think it was kick azz how she dropped kicked that dude in the last episode and put her heel next to his head and said she would kill him like that. ehehhe. How funny was it to see the Japanese side kick dude show up at Ali's house?

Hiro is my favorite. He's super funny. But how is it now he knows english and before he was just shouting in japanese on the phone to the painter in last weeks episode? And how is it that also in last weeks episode he spoke perfect English and what, did he teleport from the future to tell Nurse Flying guy about the cheerleader??????? hmmmmmmmmm.

Why does the Police man's story seem out of place in all this? Obviously they will all connect someway..........can't wait to find out!! Next weeks eppi looks sooooooooooo good, the Mind reader dude goes through walls!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait!

so wait the guy with the Cheerleader's evil dad is not Ali Larter's husband......OPSIE! lol Ali's husband D.L is a "phaser" which i guess means he can go through stuff, like walls, get out of handcuffs....etc.

so I went to this site and you can see what every characters superpower is. Apparently Nurse Flying guy actually is a Power Mimic. Basically like last night, he can take on the power of whoever he is with............very interesting. That is how he flew. He got it from being around his brother.

Project Runway

Jeffery won. I dug some of the stuff and other stuff not so much....btw.......is his face too small for his neck or am i imagining things? He so reminds me of the shrunken head guy on bettlejuice. Good luck Shrunken head!

Laura was an azzzzzzz then she was acting all Nice Mommy to Jeffrey after she tried to have him canned..........all in all she had a nice runway show. I actually thought it was quite luxurious looking.

Michael was ok, i wasn't fond of all that white and the tie up fronts. Loved the beading on the last animal print dress.

Uli was had pretty uli dresses. Very flowey, colorful Uli dresses. I loved all the embellishments on them. Very nice.

I got a little misty eyed when Tim Gunn got teary.

hehehe.

Overall.

cool show.

can't wait until next year.

Was going to tune into Top Chef

I've been digging on a new cd I got last tuesday. It's called The Evolution of Robin Thicke......soul and r&b and he's a white guy. Son of Alan Thicke, ya know the dad on Growing Pains? Yep, Alan Thicke's son has got some soul. Blue eyed soul i tell ya.

You might remember him from about 2 or three years ago with a Beethoven sample infused song called "when i get you alone".......i think it might have been in a sprite commercial....if my memory serves me right.

This dude ooooooooozes sexy with his voice. Good lord, he sounds sooooooo good.
A total throwback to Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson............and more recent I think I can compare him to a mix Maxwell and Remy Shand. He's got a hot track called "gonna love you girl" with Pharrel..............and some awesome slow songs. ooooooh the slow songs. Yumness. Total getting busy songs. if ya know what i mean. hehehehe. ;)

Ok here goes nutin' honey:

1. I bleached my eyebrows on Saturday. Left it on too long (got sucked into a Flavor of Love Marathon!...Go New York, ya crazy biotch!)............... now I have orange eyebrows. I look like a friggen Umpa loompa. Thank god for brown shadow and pencil.

2. I hate touching aluminum foil. It seriously gives me the heebiejeebies. ew.

3. Fish look wierd when they poop. Then they eat their own poop. Trippy dude. Glad im not a fish locked up in my husbands tank.

4. As of late, I find that when I am writing or thinking of a peticular word, the word I'm thinking of will be said on the TV, Radio or Movie. Now that is starting to trip me out because it's happened more than once.

5. When I read blogs, online posts, celebrity interviews, letters......whatever the case may be, I will hear the person's voice as I read what they wrote.

Call me Crazy, but those are my 5 wierd things.

Queen for a day!

I was invited to a crop at my local Scrapbook Store called The Stamp Bug. It was this past Saturday from 6 p.m to 12 a.m. Tons of cool chicks, awesome food and scrappin'. They eWe did the White Elephant Game and I scored some awesome 7gypsies paper, gaffer tape and A WHITE UNIBALL SIGNO PEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally got my hands on one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love, love, love it!! That totally made my night, for sure.

We all were working on projects, some did layouts, callendars and I made a mini book of our trip to the Pumpkin Patch (see pics on previous post)..............then at about 8 p.m. they announced that whatever was being worked on would be "voted" on and someone would be crowned "Queen of the Crop!"

Ooooooooh girl, it was on like donkey kong. I started on my mini book, bound it all together, painted, stamped, stapled........and put all my pics in.

Guess who won?

ME! It was so cool! I won an ArtBin, a gift certificate to the store and even got a Tiarra!

So fun!
